Why do women who have left the profession of prostitution tend to open clothing stores or nail salons? Because they feel that these activities are significant in their lives.

In Marxist terms, within the context of capitalism, women's bodies are alienated into means of production. Maintaining and improving these means of production, and owning their bodies in the same way capitalists own their means of production, becomes their entire world. One of the biggest YouTubers, MrBeast, often changes the titles of his past videos. This practice serves two main purposes:

1. Testing YouTube's recommendation algorithm: By altering the titles, he can observe how the videos perform in the recommendation system, thus gaining a better understanding of how the algorithm works.

2. Optimizing view counts: Based on the test results, he can identify title formats that attract more clicks from viewers, thereby increasing the overall viewership of the videos.
The Survivorship Bias originates from complex statistical analysis rather than simple inference. The original paper is [Abraham Wald's Work on Aircraft Survivability](https://www.jstor.org/stable/2288257), which can also be found [here](https://people.ucsc.edu/~msmangel/Wald.pdf).
Small samples are more likely to exhibit extreme outcomes compared to large samples, known as the "law of small numbers."

This phenomenon is described in the book "Thinking, Fast and Slow." The book gives an example where in statistical data, rural areas might show both the highest and lowest rates of pancreatic cancer incidence. This is because small sample sizes are more susceptible to random fluctuations, leading to seemingly contradictory extreme results.
